Articles from Saxophone Journal I recommend the Jerome Richardson interview (I don't think he had many occasions to tell his story - includes nice memories of the birth of the Thad Jones-Mel Lewis big band, among others) and the Phil Woods article about the 50's and 60's NYC recording places (entitled "Reflections in E-Flat).
