BruceH Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 I don't remember ever seeing this show. ...And judging by that clip, I can see why the affiliates didn't cycle through reruns endlessly. (Yikes.) Quote

(Yikes.) I remember this show from the 1950's. It has to be one of the tackiest shows in the history of TV! Quote
AllenLowe Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Jack Bailey! pomp and circumstance! one of my favorites - Quote
Christiern Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I recall seeing this show on the military base, in Iceland (TV was ilegal in off-base Iceland at the time). Never saw this particular episode,, but I am taken by the crowned queen's charm. Quote
Brownian Motion Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 The current tv show "America's Next Top Model", which 15 year old girls love, is at core an updated version of QFAD. Quote
Dave James Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Oh yeah...I definitely remember this one. My brother and I used to watch this when we were kids. I never thought too much back then about how tacky it was, it was just something to pass the time during the Summer. There were lots of game shows from that era that I recall fondly. We especially liked Treasure Hunt with Jan Murray. Kind of the '50's equivalent of Deal or No Deal. Up over and out. Quote
