JSngry Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Good sense, innocence, cripplin' mankind Dead kings, many things I can't define Occasions, persuasions clutter your mind Incense and peppermints, the color of time. Who cares what games we choose? Little to win, but nothing to lose. Incense and peppermints, meaningless nouns Turn on, turn in, turn your eyes around. Look at yourself, look at yourself, yeah, yeah Look at yourself, look at yourself, yeah, yeah, yeah! To divide the cockeyed world in two Throw your pride to one side, it's the least you can do. Beatniks and politics, nothing is new A yardstick for lunatics, one point of view Who care what games we choose? Little to win, but nothin' to lose. Good sense, innocence, cripplin' mankind Dead kings, many things I can't define. Occasion, persuassions clutter your mind Incense and peppermints, the color of time. Who cares what games we choose? Little to win, but nothin' to lose. Incense and peppermints Incense and peppermints Sha la la Sha la la Sha la la Sha la la Sha la la Sha la la Quote

Shawn Posted June 6, 2008 Author Report Posted June 6, 2008 Ten Years After - 50 Million Miles Beneath My Brain I want to know you I want to show you I want to grow you Inside of me I want to see you I want to free you I want to be you Inside of me Love me 50,000 miles beneath my brain Love me 50,000 times and then again Can you love me with a thousand eyes? Can you see right through my bones? Can you kiss me with a thousand lips? Can you melt a solid stone? Can you hear me from a thousand miles When you're screaming at the stars? Can you pull me up to Jupiter When I'm all hung up on Mars? Burn my eyes with your flame Let your world spin free Let it go, baby I'll do the same All depends on me Let it go It's all the same What with jewels that you can't see Love me, love me, love me, love me, love me, babe Bring it on home to me... Noj Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Typed out, they look so cheesy, but I love "Today" by Jefferson Airplane. Today I feel like pleasing you More than before Today I know what I want to do But I don't know what for To be living for you Is all I want to do To be loving you It'll all be there When my dreams come true Today Everything you want I swear It all will come true Today I realize how much I'm in love with you With you standing here I can tell the world What it means to love To go on from here I can't use words They don't say enough Please please Listen to me It's taken so long to come true It's all for you All for you Quote

Big Al Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Incense and peppermints, meaningless nouns Turn on, turn in, turn your eyes around. Ah, Bubble Puppy! Always thought that was the strangest record in my dad's collection. I once quoted that song to a former boss of mine over ten years ago, and he was floored that I even knew who Bubble Puppy was. He told me saw them in Houston in the late 60's or so. Quote

jazzbo Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Forty thousand headmen couldn't make me change my mind If I had to take the choice between the deafman and the blind I know just where my feet should go and that's enough for me I turned around and knocked them down and walked across the sea Hadn't traveled very far when suddenly I saw Three small ships a-sailing out towards a distant shore So lighting up a cigarette I followed in pursuit And found a secret cave where they obviously stashed their loot Filling up my pockets, even stuffed it up my nose I must have weighed a hundred tons between my head and toes I ventured forth before the dawn had time to change its mind And soaring high above the clouds I found a golden shrine Laying down my treasure before the iron gate Quickly rang the bell hoping I hadn't come too late But someone came along and told me not to waste my time And when I asked him who he was he said, 'Just look behind' So I turned around and forty thousand headmen bit the dirt Firing twenty shotguns each and man, it really hurt But luckily for me they had to stop and then reload And by the time they'd done that I was heading down the road Quote
