OK but are we a selling board? of the 45 postings 40 are about selling cd's and 5 about shipping. Not my kind of contribution to a board and sell some (private) overstock occasionally. But he's a friend of Chuck so he can do it while others are slashed after one or two postings in this manner.......strange

i respect where you're coming from, but i think bluerein expressed an opinion that's been brought up before. jmd registered here over a year ago and has shown no interest in our "community" other than as a place to do business. afaik, no other member has ever done this, and requests for jmd to become more involved on the board have been ignored. i'm only one person (albeit one with superhuman powers of insight and hypocrisy), but i would like to urge jmd again to be an active member of this community if he wants to continue selling his wares here. it's a practice that everyone else follows, and one that i don't feel should be ignored just because of an offer of free shipping.

I have had business dealings (sold to) with Tom for a number of years and he pays his bills. Never met him. Please don't add any other baggage to that relationship or the board. I do find it "unseemly" he only posts sales here, but since I have taken advantage of a couple of his offers I can't bitch.

Tom's a good guy, and I'm glad he's here. I agree that it would be nice to have him share his thoughts with us on the music, as he is certainly very knowledgeable, but I am glad he posts what he does here, and have had many good experiences exchanging CD's with him.

Chuck: How can I prove anything you didn't do? Normally you are the first to comment on such behaviour but as you said this time you didn't because of the facts you state above. So if one has a personal benifit it's ok to do things and get away with it but otherwise not. Not very consequent imo. But OK I don't mind him posting anything it's just typical and I was curious but please let it rest and move on.......
