In the liners to either this album or their first, they said they wanted to be this generation's Cannonball Adderley Quintet, and wanted to be together for years (at least that's what I remember), but after the above lp, they were no more. It was disappointing, as I thought they were very good and had great promise for the future, but like so much of 1990s jazz, it was not meant to be. Edited May 28, 2019 by Matthew Quote
