Jim Alfredson Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 Indiana then set up for a final play with 4 seconds left, but Artest never got a good look with James in his face and misfired on his 3-pointer as time expired. "I just fell short," Artest said. "I'm glad I got that shot out of the way now so when the playoffs come and I'm in that situation, I'm sure it will go down." Cocky, anyone? I can't wait until the Pistons play the Pacers again. I think with 'Sheed, things will be mighty different. Rick Carlisle should win coach of the year. The Pacers have the best record in the NBA and it's all thanks to him. I was mad when Detroit let him go and even though I like Larry Brown, I still don't know if it was a good move or not. Quote
rachel Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 what's up with reggie miller, is he even scoring 10 points a night? We don't need Reggie to score more than 10 points a night with so many other key players in double figures. (absolutely because of a great coach who can get the best out of every player). The key is *when* he scores the points, not necessarily *how many* points. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 16, 2004 Author Report Posted March 16, 2004 the lakeshow barely beat the sorry-ass magic last night. they have alot of home games at the staples left. they gotta get their shiznet together. mvp is kevin garnett, no doubt roy is lebron james coach of the year is paul silas maybe? ss1 Quote
Tjazz Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 How did the Lakers win? Weren't they losing the whole game... Quote
Noj Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Kobe's 24 points in the 4th quarter ties Jerry West and Elgin Baylor for the Laker record in the final period. Not much time left to get in playoff form. How 'bout Amare Stoudemire's dunk over Yao? Yikes! Quote

Not much time left to get in playoff form. How 'bout Amare Stoudemire's dunk over Yao? Yikes! Yeah, Yao needs to get some muscle. Reminds me of Bradley (?), who was tall and skinny. I didn't see the Laker game. Is Malone knocking everybody over yet? With Malone and Shaq blocking the inside, how does anyone go inside? Kobe can score, but is George and Fox still missing all of their shots? Sacramento is still the team to beat. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 16, 2004 Author Report Posted March 16, 2004 charles barkley said on tnt last night, sacramento will NOT win the title. what's does charles know about winning a title? lakers' outside shots are missing. slava is a turnover machine, he can't make a layup ss1 Quote
PHILLYQ Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 SS1, Don't forget Hubie Brown in considering Coach of the Year- he's done a great job, also. Quote

Kobe can score, but is George and Fox still missing all of their shots? Sacramento is still the team to beat. Yao is hardly Shawn Bradley, his footwork and atheletic ability are much better. He has had Moses Malone and Patrick Ewing coaching him. The Lakers have only played three games with Malone back in the lineup, demanding great play is a bit of a stretch. Yes, Fox and George could build a home with their bricks. Sactown might be the team to beat, but they can't "still" be the team to beat. In that phrase, the defending champion Spurs might fit--but the Kings haven't won anything yet. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 17, 2004 Author Report Posted March 17, 2004 (edited) i've got $30 on the lakeshow $20 saying they'll get further than the queens $10 saying they'll get to the nba finals a friend wants to bet me $100 that the queens will win it all. it'd be hard to bet $100 the lakers would win it, picking any team would be difficult. why don't people believe me when i tell them my name is shaquille o'neal? ss1 Edited March 17, 2004 by Soulstation1 Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 17, 2004 Author Report Posted March 17, 2004 p. freakin s. even IF the queens win it, IF they don't beat the lakers it don't mean shiznet........ sorry that was those beers talkin' ss1 Quote

Soulstation1 Posted March 18, 2004 Author Report Posted March 18, 2004 noj who you got in tonight's spurs vs tenderwolves game? the best the lakers can hpe for is the third spot. the queens are fading, too much runnin' and gunnin' this applies to the mavs too ss1 Quote
Noj Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 If Duncan is still out, the Tenderwolves might take 'em down. Can the Lakers "turn it on?" I have my doubts. I always like it when the Kings and Mavs lose. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 24, 2004 Author Report Posted March 24, 2004 (edited) big week for the lake show. tonight the queens and friday vs the tenderwolves, both games at the staples center this is a "put up or shut up" week for my boyzzzz the queens lost to the bucks last night ss1 Edited March 24, 2004 by Soulstation1 Quote
Noj Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Big week indeed. Time to show some moxie. Is Bobby Jackson still out for Sactown? Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 24, 2004 Author Report Posted March 24, 2004 bobby jax is out. kobe's in denver today the daddy tonite's stats 34 points, 19 boards, 5 dunks, 3 blocks the lakers are barely beating teams that they should crush. looks like garnett had a good game again last night Quote

Soulstation1 Posted March 25, 2004 Author Report Posted March 25, 2004 was a message being sent last night? Quote
Soulstation1 Posted March 26, 2004 Author Report Posted March 26, 2004 lakers are gonna beat the tenderwolves, like they did the queens can the lakers win the pacific division? the queens suck since c-webb been back btw, spurs beat the pistons last night if "da wanksta" had to fly back east, say ny/miami he'd be missing some games ss1 Quote
Noj Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 SS1 called it, the Lakeshow is currently spanking the young Tenderwolves. Quote
