August 7 Amir El Saffar's Two Rivers Ensemble (incl. Rudresh Mahanthappa) Millennium Park Chicago, IL From Rudresh's website, this same group will be in Philly on Oct. 24. He's also going to be doing the Miles from India tour (as discussed elsewhere) in New York and San Francisco, but apparently not Chicago (I don't believe there are any Miles from India concerts in Chicago, but in any event Rudresh will not be performing). Grr. I imagine he would be a bit more prominent in a live concert than on the album. Anyway, if I was in town for one of those concerts, I would try to make it. Edited April 24, 2008 by ejp626 Quote

I'm hoping Rudresh will perform elsewhere while in Chicago as well but I'm not sure if his contract with MP allows that. What other info would you like? I can help.
