Noj Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 (edited) The Lakers aren't stepping up in the face of adversity. The Celtics Big Three are bad match ups for the Lakers, and Perkins and Powe are great off the glass. EDIT: Last night I mistyped "diversity" where I meant to type "adversity" not once, but twice. Yikes, too much medicine. Edited June 9, 2008 by Noj Quote

Aggie87 Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 Vinny Del Negro (42 yrs old) is going to be the next Bulls coach. Terry Porter (45) is the next Suns coach. Michael Curry (39) is the next Pistons coach. All are generally youngers guys, and all former players. Porter's at least got some prior coaching experience (71-93), but the other 2 are first time coaches. Quote

paul secor Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3436401 Ouch. David Stern and the some of the sports media are calling Donaghy's allegations the smear tactics of an admitted criminal, but it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Quote

paul secor Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 gasol's beard looks itchy.......... imo I grew a beard many years ago, and a friend of mine told me - some people look distinguished in a beard; some people look tough in a beard; you just look like someone the world stepped on. He was right, and I shaved it off. Gasol looks like some homeless street cat with that beard. Quote

Man with the Golden Arm Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Worst night of my sports watching life. What a choke. Congrats Boston fans! Biggest turn ever! I can't imagine sitting there as a Laker fan (formerly being one from the West, Chamberlain, Goodrich days) down a game esp with the early Odom show and just waiting for Bryant to fire it up and put it to bed. Allen's take on Vujacic was a thing of beauty. Celts played the game of their lives last night. Quote
