Had a good day, nice dinner out in the evening... and got invited to the Sharon Jones gig in Zurich in May (as I'd been hoping ), donated to Giuseppi Logan's new project, ordered me some new stuff (that Eddie Rozner 2CD set, Satchmo's Complete Town Hall Concert and a very cheap copy of "Satchmo the Great", finally the two Lifetime albums I've been wanting for years, "Emergency!" and "Turn It Over", as well as the Loretta Lynn 3CD set... that will keep me busy for a while).

All of this good stuff has been overshadowed by the news first of Levon Helm's sad state and just now his death - damn!

Playing CD2 of "The Last Waltz" box as I'm typing this... best rock band ever, best rock drummer ever, and a fantastic singer, too!
