A Lark Ascending Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 They are on e-music (at least the UK version) if you're not averse to downloads. Quote
John Tapscott Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 (edited) Not the US, but Canada (still North America, however). The Woodville CD's are available from: John Norris Sackville Recordings Box 1002, Station O Toronto, Ontario, Canada M4A 2N4 No email; John takes all orders by fax (416) 465-9093 and provides excellent service. jlhoots Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 I ordered the ones I wanted from Amazon UK. Since they take off the VAT, the prices were about the same as from anyplace else + they ship quickly via air mail. Quote

Right you are, John, they're available from Norris. And he has an excellent Alan Barnes (alto/bari) CD on Concord-for-Europe-Only called "Manhattan". (CCDEU-4947-2)David Newton, piano; Matt Miles, bass; Steve Brown, drums; and special guest on 6 of the 11 tracks, Conte Candoli on trumpet. It was recorded a couple of years back (April 25, 2000), but it's all new and great to me. Norris' prices are good, too, as they include shipping. Ask him for his new Newsletter -- he's got a lot of back catalogue are bargain prices. Nothing is online, sadly. I think Norris views computers much as Dracula views the dawn. Quote
