mikeweil Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 I had all of the Blue Moon VeeJay reissues and sold them after I got a copy of the Mosiac, which sounds a lot better on my system. Quote

jazzbo Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 The Mosaics sounds better. Real good. The Mosaics are expensive on ebay! The Koch and Blue Moon sound "good enough" and unless you have a fat bank account, "good enough". . . the music comes through. Quote
David Ayers Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 We were unlucky that this set and the Kelly/Chambers ran out suddenly. I had the Morgan/Shorter but missed the Kelly (I was busy: suddenly it was gone). The sudden disappearance has kept the prices high, it seems. Quote
Popkin Posted April 28, 2010 Author Report Posted April 28, 2010 I was mostly wondering about the variation in sound quality. For example, for those of you who own the relevant Mosaic sets, would you say that the Here's Lee Morgan and Introducing Wayne Shorter sessions sound significantly better than the Second Genesis and Kelly great sessions?
