Jim Alfredson Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 A hobbyist musician friend of my sister asked me to do a chart of this tune and I'm really busy. Anybody have one? Thanks! Quote
Dan Gould Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Darn, I was hoping that was under consideration for the new CD. BTW, I think its "Dis Here". Quote

AllenLowe Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 (edited) I don't have that one, but I do have a braille copy of Hot Dog arranged for brass band with girl singer - used by Helen Keller on her famous 1927 version for Okeh - Edited April 1, 2008 by AllenLowe Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 So I'm gonna have to do this myself? I'm disappointed in all of you. You call yourselves musicians? Quote
Joe G Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 No bread, no chart. Damn straight we call ourselves musicians. Quote

DukeCity Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Did some Googling, but this was the only book I found that has it. Looks like it is a piano arrangement rather than a lead sheet, but it might be of some use. Description: 16 jazz classics from the '50s and '60s, including: Airegin (Sonny Rollins, Miles Davis) • The Champ (Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy Smith) • Giant Steps (John Coltrane, Tommy Flanagan) • I Remember Clifford (Lee Morgan, Dizzy Gillespie) • Mercy, Mercy, Mercy (Cannonball Adderley, Joe Zawinul) • Song for My Father (Kenny Burrell, Horace Silver) • This Here (Bobby Timmons, Cannonball Adderly) • and more. Jim Alfredson Posted April 3, 2008 Author Report Posted April 3, 2008 Hey, that might appease the guy! Thanks! Quote
Free For All Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 Not necessarily a definitive source, but IIRC isn't it also on the Cannonball Aebersold play-along? I mean, if all you need is a lead sheet.... Quote
