baby is sick.

pontiac made a few 25th anniversary nascar daytona commemoratives,

and she is one of the best kept, and without restoration.

there is the build order from the factory, the window sticker, original floormats..........

her fuel pump, located in the secluded gas tank, has grown feeble, hidden by a discouraging array of pipes, wires, and supports.

she is gasping for fuel,

and with transfusions, will run.

the auto ambulance came for her today.

summer is still young.

maybe we can still do a parade or two, she and i,

and a car show or so....

the world has bigger problems, to it, but....

We had a little rain today, but this has been a hot summer—I just took this photo from my window, it's Central Park, across the street from me, but one would never know that the photo was taken July 13th!

I took this one a couple of days ago, from a moving car going north on Manhattan's West Side Highway. Nothing special about the photo itself, but I always thought this was an interesting looking building.

Originally called the Santa Gertrudis Ranch, until some time after Richard King's passing in 1885:

Thanks, Aggie. Cornwall is where my heart lies...hope to retire there in a few years.

Nice flora shouts, alocispepraluger102. I love trying to get abstract pictures out of the natural world - I get very strange looks as I point my camera into rock pools or cliff faces!

You'll be very welcome down here, Bev. I think I recognise that boathouse shot as Trevarno ( ? ).

Trevarno indeed - the normal publicity shot, but I couldn't resist!

I thought of you as I whizzed up to Wheal Coates one night to catch the sunset, passing signs to Mount Hawke (was staying at the campsite the otherside of Tehidy Park. One of my favourite cafes in the world lies just a mile or so away at Hell's Mouth. The breakfasts are amazing!)

Was staying up near Rock a few days later (before Cameron got there and started misusing village names) - unfamiliar territory for me. Stumbled on this while walking the headland:

Didn't know that.
