Big Al
Art Pepper's GETTIN' TOGETHER was recorded on this day in 1960! It's one of my favorite Pepper albums and I was giving it a spin anyway and noticed the recording date. Thought that was pretty cool! Any other albums recorded on a Leap Day? Here are some that should have been, but probably weren't: Sonny Clark, Leapin' and Lopin' "Leap Frog" from Bird and Diz Any version of "Lester Leaps In"

paul secor
Don't know what albums were recorded on Leap Day, but I saw a listing of people who were born on February 29th - among them: Serial killers Richard Ramirez and Aileen Wuornos Motivational speaker Tony Robbins "Actor" Dennis Farina I'd change my birthday if I had to share it with that crew. Big Beat Steve
Well, Richie Cole was born on 29 Feb. 1948. Would that offset it at least somewhat?
