My favorite part about that thread is how you admit you've only been into Wynton for a few weeks, and yet "I've heard enough of his recordings to KNOW that he's one of the greatest trumpeters of all-time!" While I dig what Wynton does I also dig: Dizzy Gillespie Woody Shaw Kenny Dorham Miles Davis Wallace Roney Tomasz Stanko Enrico Rava Thad Jones Lee Morgan Freddie Hubbard Jon Faddis Clark Terry Blue Mitchell Terence Blanchard Art Farmer Roy Hargrove Marvin Stamm Kenny Wheeler Donald Byrd Johnny Coles Ingrid Jensen To name a few, what I do know is I like what I like and dispite what some of you guys have said, which has been negative, I still like Wynton.
