bvy Posted February 7, 2008 Author Report Posted February 7, 2008 Sorry about that. Poor judgment and hardly the first impression I wanted to make here. Just trying to rotate some stuff (to make room for new stuff, of course). PS: Would have posted sooner, but I can't post from work for some reason. Bummer, but probably just as well... Quote

I'd like to say "welcome to the board," but it's hard when I feel as if I'm being targetted as a sales prospect. How can you visit a board for the first time then start announcing auctions, which are open to the public? It's not as if you are offering anyone here on the board anything that non boardmembers can't get in equal measures. We've all got our ebay search engines. Stick around and get to know some of us. We're not sales tools. Quote
etherbored Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 ...nor do we spell all real good. we shoot first and ask questions later. Quote

bvy Posted February 13, 2008 Author Report Posted February 13, 2008 (edited) Once again, my apologies for posting this. eBay is hardly any sort of regular or profitable sideline for me. I typically start my auctions at one cent and my shipping covers just that -- shipping and maybe an envelope. As timing would have it, I had this auction up when I signed up for the board, and in my eagerness to post, thought I'd put it in front of some people here. I'd rather see someone here take it for a fair price, than have a dealer take it for next to nothing and put it on Amazon for $100 (I see that all the time). Also, I know it's a public auction, but I don't always have time to scour the search engines, so personally I like to see postings like this. I thought this particular disk was of broad enough appeal. In any case, and as a peace offering, the winning bid was $16.59 and I've donated that amount to the board.
