AfricaBrass Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 I can't believe it but I actually took this stupid quiz. I scored a 2. I have no hope of being a Metrosexual. Whoo-hoo! ESPN Metrosexual quiz Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Scored a two as well. Oh well. Musicians are supposed to be scrubby! Quote
AfricaBrass Posted September 24, 2003 Author Report Posted September 24, 2003 Scored a two as well. Oh well. Musicians are supposed to be scrubby! Yup! Scrubby here. Quote
RDK Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 I'm still not quite sure what a "metrosexual" is, but I'm clearly not one of them... I scored a ZERO!!! Quote
RDK Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 (edited) For anyone scoring higher than a zero, I think it means that you've been watching too much "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"... and taking notes. Edited September 24, 2003 by RDK Quote
Ed S Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 I scored a zero. Is that good or bad? Quote
David Ayers Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Hey I scored one for re-reading old classics. But, uhhh, that seems to be part of my job so maybe it doen't count... Quote
jacman Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 scored a 1. the last book i picked up was a classic. well to me anyway. Quote
AfricaBrass Posted September 24, 2003 Author Report Posted September 24, 2003 (edited) I scored a zero. Is that good or bad? I'd say it's good, but that's just my opinion. I think the whole metrosexual thing is pretty silly anyway. Edited September 24, 2003 by AfricaBrass Quote
BruceH Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 I scored a one, also the reading question. But I define any book I've read that I really liked a lot as a "classic." Quote
jazzbo Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 I got two. . . one was for rereading an old classic. . . well that was the only thing that sort of fit, I'm actually reading Velikovsky's "Earth In Turmoil"--never got very far into that one years ago, and I've reread all his other published (and some unpublished too!) lately, not really an old classic, but not one of the other options. I'm relieved to find that even ESPN (I spend absolutely no time on sports watching or following in any way) knows how manly a man I am! B) Quote
David Ayers Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 yeah that 'anonymous' certainly wrote a few well thumbed 'classics'... Quote
Morganized Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Zero here. I prefer the classics but seldom re-read anything. Don't even get to claim a one. Quote
Harold_Z Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Well...I'm a "lost cause". I think anybody who isn't is probably ashamed to admit it. Lon........Velikovsky...Worlds In Collision...I READ THAT. WAYYYY BACK! I need to check that out again..it's from a time when I really don't remember ANYTHING I read! Quote
Jazzmoose Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Assuming The Dain Curse actually is a classic, and I contend that it is, I got a "2". Hey, sue me; I've got Gephardt eyebrows and this one black hair right in the middle. Drives me nuts! Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Scored a big fat zero. Even though I read good books, I am more likely to grab a magazine when going to the bathroom. That was the closest I got to scoring a point. Lately, I've been looking at chess problems on the throne. Helps the ol bowels move. Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Oh, and of course, this means that I am not a "metrosexual." I suppose that means that I'm not sexually attracted to public transportation. Quote
Jazzdog Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Woo-hoo...scored a TWO! Works for me...I think if I scored any less than that I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror. My momma didn't rasie no SLOB!!! Quote
RDK Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 I can't complain getting a zero. The last test like this that I took - one that made the internet rounds a few weeks ago - said that I was "30% gay." I don't mind that, so long as I get to choose which 30%. Quote
White Lightning Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Zero Is that good or bad Quote
jazzbo Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 How do you "zeroes" get out of the house in the morning without something to curb your cowlicks and keep your wild hairs in a National Socialist civilized format? Quote
Aggie87 Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 (edited) You mean we're supposed to DO something with our hair?? Edited September 24, 2003 by Aggie87 Quote
