Popsike no longer free

after logging on to Popsike I got a message I had to subscribe to get any more access. Now how am I supposed to pay when i spent all my extra cash on vinyl?

Tip : When i log with my old Safari or (very old) Internet Explorer version, Popsike never ask me to pay...you should try.

It may have to do with how often you use it. If you use it infrequently, they may let you pass, but if you keep coming back, then they ask for a subscription. I find it to be a valuable resource, so I paid the fee.

What the hell is Popsike?

A very useful website on which you can find archives of rare LPs auctions.

Popsike is a modern on line price guide. Unlike the old print guides, this one is based entirely on actual Ebay sales, so it can be considered more reliable than the highly fictional price guides of the past.

to get around the "popsike asking you for money" problem, clear your popsike cookies. for the less tech-savvy, this will mean that popsike will "see" you as a new person, and not ask for payment. it shoudl be easy to do in whatever browser you use (i'm on a mac, using safari, and all i do is go to safari>preferences>security>show cookies, then delete the ones i don't want any more.

I got in the site no problem. Question - How often do they update/add new auctions?? I just did a search for BYG and the last auction that they added was back from November. There have been probably 100 BYG's sold since then on ebay.

BYGs are plummeting in price - not worth listing 'em as "rare" at this point.
