Those Fender Mexican Standard Teles are a good bang for the buck. If you have a dealer that does 40% off list, you can probably get one for $315. The best price I've seen online is $350, but with no tax and free shipping at musiciansfriend.com - just a thought Plus, they do have alder bodies now. Too bad you're not in California, you could borrow one of mine to get the Tele fix. :rsmile: Quote

Musican's Friend is a thought, but I've bought other equipment from them in the past there always seems to be a problem. At the Marketplace at guitarsbyleo there is a Bluesboy for $750 that I'm temped to grab. But I think I wait until I take some time off and visit some guitar shops in the area and play LOT's of Tele's - with great restraint! Quote
