Aluminum Christmas trees back in vogue?

Recommended Posts

I think I had one of these. Must have seemed like a good idea at the time.

Good God ! I've still got one - absolutely identical to that one, stored away somewhere. Has a company logo on it (saved them giving us cash one Xmas), only ever used for car repairs..

Maybe it is a 'collectable' now and I can stick it on ebay?

No giant lightshow, but we've got the scariest little doll on our porch, one of those animatronic Christmas carollers with an artificial candle in his hand. We've had it for years and my niece loved it when she was a small child so the folks love to get it out every year. It used to wave its arms around and move its head to the music it used to play. Now the music and arms don't work and only the head moves in this disturbingly psychotic manner. I have nightmares that it's tapping on my window and looking at me while I sleep.

"My name is Talking Tina, and I don't like you."
