Barefield has performed internationally with his own groups and with Oliver Lake, Roscoe Mitchell, David Murray and many others. His legendary series at the Detroit Institute of Arts has just been released on CD. From Mrs. Barefield Bakers is considering canceling our weekly Wednesday gig if things don't pick up.
