Chas
Bethlehem sometimes marred Burt Goldblatt's cover shots with overlaid text . For instance , this cover also exists with " The Thinking Man's Music" scrawled across it .

The Magnificent Goldberg
That reminds me of the Shelley Berman story about how, when he was young and dating a girl at a restaurant, he thought to emulate Bogart by lighting his and her cigarettes together - AND FORGOT TO GIVE HER ONE OF THEM! Kevin Bresnahan
It's amazing how many of these artists are now dead, with many of the causes of their deaths reading like the side of pack of cigarettes, "Lung Cancer, Heart Disease, Emphysema". I'm glad my generation got ample warning of the dangers of this habit. Nowadays, we just pickle our livers.

NaturalSoul
MG Now that's a GREAT album title, cover, etc...I want it! So do I - I haven't got ANY of Sonny's later Cadets. MG Not sure you have this one, or if you like mp3's - but you can buy "Mr. Bojangles" over at the i-tunes store for $9.99.

Also Willie The Lion Smith who was enjoying a cigar while sitting on another stairs and was out of camera range!
