The Ticats led until they didn't. The Bombers completely dominated the fourth quarter.

Exciting game because Rob Maver hurt his leg and missed two chip shot field goals. Calgary should have won, but Cleo Lemon looked much better than usual.

Not a well-played game, but the close score kept it interesting.

A snoozer in the first half with a huge number of dropped passes. I went to bed at halftime with the score 7-6. Wouldn't you know it, it turned out to be the best game of the weekend with a wild second half.

Windy day in Regina. Montreal showed that they were the better team. Calvillo threw 5 TD passes to tie Damon Allen for first place in career TD passes.

For the second week in a row, the Eskimos looked better than expected, and the Ticats looked worse.

The Bombers looked surprisingly good until Buck Pierce got hurt. After that, their offense didn't do much.

Now we know why the Bombers couldn't do much after Buck Pierce left the game. Joey Elliot hurt his left ACL and stayed in the game anyway. It looks like he'll be out for the year.

I must say that for a team that has won two out of three, the Stampeders haven't looked very good.

Both the Ticats and the Riders were winless going into this week's game. If the Riders can't stay on the field with the Ticats, who do they think they can beat?

Now the Riders and the Lions are the last winless teams. BC showed nothing against the Eskimos, and were lucky to score 17 points. Remember last year when the Lions and the Eskimos got off to slow starts, and there was speculation that for the first time ever an Eastern team would cross over to the West in the playoffs? I suspect we will see that again soon if either the Riders or the Lions don't show something soon.
