Tonight at the half the Stampeders led 9-0. The Stamps stretched their lead to 24-0 with four minutes left in the third. The Riders put Pitt's Tino Sunseri into the game, and he led the team back to tie the score at 24! Marve was sharp, and he led the Bombers to within three points, 26-23. But the Stamps held on to win. With the win, the Stamps clinched first place in the West. But the Eskimos obtained the momentum when Kendial Lawrence ran the second half kickoff back 96 yards for the TD, and Edmonton scored 20 straight points to put the game away. Adarius Bowman set the Edmonton team record for passes caught in a season. With the loss, the Riders were eliminated from contention for second place in the West.
