I went to bed early last night, and missed this one. It looks like it was a great one.

You will recall that Ticats draft pick Lyndon Gaydosh signed instead with the Carolina Panthers. Yesterday the Panthers put him on Injured Reserve with a herniated disk. He could be out all season, and remain Carolina property.

The players union is appealling the arbitrator's decision that Chris Williams must abide by his contract with the Ticats.

Great first half, with the Lions leading 17-16 at halftime. The Bomber offense didn't look as good in the second half. Maybe the Lions aren't as good as I thought. I thought they would win tonight easily.

The Argos led 31-0 in the second quarter. I bet Dan Hawkins enjoyed this!

Watched that game - it was amateur hour for the Als- laughable when the shotgun snap actually hit the running back in motion. Pretty embarrassing showing for a once-powerhouse team. Of course, the way the CFL is, they could still turn their season around and win the Grey Cup!

The Stamps got out of the gate early and never looked back. Jon Cornish scored four TDs.

The Riders were inconsistent at best, but they still have the same record now as the Stamps and are 1 & 1 in games with them so they may make it to the Grey Cup yet...but not giving up the one point and keeping possession and better field position on that kickoff was a bad mistake.
