The Stamps never caught up after that. It's much too early to say if Bonner will mentally develop into a starting quarterback, but there's no doubt he has an arm. GA Russell Posted September 16 Author Report Share Posted September 16 I want to point out to you a play from yesterday's Montreal - Calgary game. The defensive tackle smothered the punt. It was a thing of beauty. The ball and the punter's foot drilled the defensive lineman in the chest. Absolutely perfect. But no. The rule was changed, so that the tackle was considered to be guilty of roughing the kicker. I will keep my eyes out for an explanation.
