The Elks scored two field goals, and the Ticats responded with two of their own, so the score was 6-6 after one. Edmonton scored two punt singles, and Hamilton scored their own to make the score 8-7 with 2:40 left in the half. Then the Ticats suddenly wake up and score two touchdowns before halftime. They score two more in the third, and one more to start the fourth, to make the score Ticats 41 - Elks 8. Needless to say, the Elks' offense was the mess it was last week, and ever since they fired Chris Jones. For the first time (!) in his career, Mitchell threw five touchdown passes. At that point, there is 9:43 left in the game, and Jackson puts in Ford, who promptly throws three touchdown passes!
