Glad to hear that things are healing well. :tup Hard to avoid this sort of thing though, almost inevitable. Still remember my younger sis running along and trapping her leg down a broken (and sharp) metal grate in the local pathway (damn council - they would be sued these days). She was in total agony and needed quite a few stitches. Makes me feel :bad: just thinking about it but it healed just fine.

Yes, she is doing very well, thank you for asking. She is due to have the pins pulled out next Monday and then I guess they are just going to wrap it in gauze and send us on our way. They don't like to put casts on kids this young because it doubles the recovery time. So about three weeks after she broke it, she'll be out of all casts and pins. Seems incredible.

She went back to daycare last week and was thrilled. She woke up last Monday morning (the last "daycare" day that we kept her home) and the first thing she said to my wife was that she missed her friends at daycare. So cute. My wife said when she got there her friend Ellie came up and gave her a huge hug and told Zora that she missed her. How sweet is that?

What a great story--so glad she's on the mend.

Wow, adults can and should learn a lot from kids' behavior.

Jim, really glad to hear she's doing well. :tup She's a terrific kid! Hope we get to see her again soon (and she can even bring the rest of the family, if she wants to. :) ).

You did a fantastic job handling this (much better than I would have done  ). Tell Alison that I was only kidding about the lawsuit ;). But I am always available for free legal advice should she or Zora ever need it in the future :w .

How about ME, Ron? :g

Too many damn lawyers around here, anyway.

Especially Philadelphia lawyers.

(big wink/nod to Ron. More news to follow.)
