Rudy Van Gelder - His 'Latest & Greatest'

Last night I was spinnin' Valery Ponomarev's Profile CD on Reservoir and noticed that the 1991 session was engineered by Rudy Van Gelder. This got me to wondering what RVG has been involved with in the last decade or so. Outside of the classic recordings I can't say that I recall any others of note.

Does anyone know of a web resource that lists his complete engineering efforts? Thanks!

BTW..the Ponomarev CD is a great listen if you get the chance. Joe Henderson spots nicely.

Rudy Van Gelder is still very active. He is recording various sessions including several for the HighNote label including this recent album

Considering the credits also list Abdullah Ibrahim and Charles Victor Moore (who died in 1992) as producers, my guess is that, in typical AMG fashion, these are just mangled credits for samples--Rudy included. Blue Note and Abdullah are ripe for the beats, after all...

He engineered a great album by Red Holloway and Plas Johnson called KEEP THAT GROOVE GOIN which came out in 2002 or 2003.
