The Magnificent Goldberg Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Both. Every time I blinked, it would go the other way. Er... MG Quote
Joe G Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Clockwise, and I could not see it as going counter-clockwise no matter what. Quote
aparxa Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 (edited) Damned! My right brain might have right sided my left ! Edited October 22, 2007 by aparxa Quote
7/4 Posted October 22, 2007 Author Report Posted October 22, 2007 If I change the distance to the screen or change my glasses, she changes direction. Quote
Joe G Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Nope, that didn't work either. Interesting "dancer" btw - I can see her nipples. Quote
Randy Twizzle Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 I only see her going clockwise. I wish I knew about this left brain/right brain thing when I was in high school. I could explain to my mother why I was always in danger of flunking math and why later in college I flunked a "physics for non-science majors" course. when even football players were passing it. 7/4 Posted October 22, 2007 Author Report Posted October 22, 2007 Interesting "dancer" btw - I can see her nipples. Yeah, she get's me hot too. Quote
catesta Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Nope, that didn't work either. Interesting "dancer" btw - I can see her nipples. Same here, on the nipples that is. She is spinning counter clockwise for me, which is exactly what I like my ladies to do. Quote
Tim McG Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Optical illusion, Guys. That Right Brain/Left Brain stuff is old news. Been a teaching strategy for over a decade now. Quote
aparxa Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Nope, that didn't work either. Interesting "dancer" btw - I can see her nipples. Neither do I. Waited for 0,pi/4,pi/2... but only tic-tac tic-tac Quote
RDK Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Woah! I saw her turning counter-clockwise and couldn't imagine how anyone saw different... but then I looked again and she was moving clockwise. Really trippy! Quote
Noj Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 My first thought was that it is some sort of hoax. I thought the animation changed slightly, since my change of perception was so abrupt. I did some screen shots to see it standing still (and compare clockwise to counter clockwise), and then I could flip the silhouette at will. Someone on JC pointed out that covering the rest of her body and just looking at her feet makes seeing it both ways easy. Quote
rostasi Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 but why would you wanna do that? Quote
Dan Gould Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 What was the question? I was mesmerized by her rack. Quote
Dan Gould Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Seriously, I could only see her going clockwise and could perceive no change or in any way "make it change". Its quite interesting to me in that, going through the list I would easily self-identify as "left brain" but at the same time I've had it drilled into me that the creative/improv/"in the moment" element of Voice Overs required "right brain" activity. In fact, before practice sessions, we would sometimes do improv sessions to sort of prime our right brain into action (such as a round of "Whose Line" games such as "props" or "titles only"). Quote
Free For All Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 I stared at her for a minute; all she did was put on a robe and split. Quote

7/4 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 I like how she hops up and down on one foot while she spins. Nice touch. Quote
Joe G Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Someone on JC pointed out that covering the rest of her body and just looking at her feet makes seeing it both ways easy. I'll be damned - that works for me (tested on the rodcast version). Quote
MoGrubb Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 This warrants further sutdy, er, study. Quote
paul secor Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 I thought that this whole thing was a put-on. Figured everyone would see her moving clockwise, until I asked my wife to take a look, and she saw her moving counterclockwise. Quote
