7/4 Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 but i love pouring those mexican red and green sauces all over my food because then i will get diahrea and dump it all out, as i mentioned in another thread a while back. so it is a good way to enjoy mexican food and not keep the weight (fat, carbs, etc). Yeah, but it burns... Quote

Kalo Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 A few years ago, an old college buddy of mine came up with this one. Not sure if it's still available. Try online. Quote
7/4 Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 Not super hot, but very tasty. That's what they have at the Mexican places around here. Quote
7/4 Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 New flavor, also very tasty. I seem to remember trying it. I wonder why I didn't get it again. I'll add it to the shopping list. Quote
Free For All Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 I seem to remember trying it. I wonder why I didn't get it again. I'll add it to the shopping list. The smoked jalapeno flavor isn't for everybody, but I like it on grilled chicken wings and also put a bit in my chili and enchilada sauce, to name a couple uses. Quote
DukeCity Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 Not super hot, but very tasty. Yep, that's the one for me! Here in NM they have an annual event called the National Fiery Foods and BBQ Show. I've never been, but apparently there are some dangerous concoctions served... :rsmile: Quote
Free For All Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 That's what they have at the Mexican places around here. Cholula also makes dry seasonings that are very good. Besides the Chili Lime there's also an Original flavor. Quote

7/4 Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 Mmmmmmmmm........... There used to be a little store in the Village, NYC that looked like that. Too bad it closed. Great idea though... Quote

MoGrubb Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 These guys might know... Reminds me of a San Francisco experience many years a go. The flavor's different, but, if you just want something hot, try some chinese mustard. I tried a "medium" hot once that scared the shit out of me. I can't imagine how hot the really hot stuff is. Man with the Golden Arm Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 (edited) This is the shit. That Blair's stuff should be illegal. Got a bottle of the "possible side effects" here at the studio and ya can't even look at it without sweating. edit: i see the Blair's I have is Out of Print ... trade-bait!!! Cholula is my go to Baja Fresh condiment and for some reason a bottle always seems to follow me home. Edited October 4, 2007 by Man with the Golden Arm Quote
