What's Tge Story With These New Verve Reissues?

I wish I was that clever! Wasn't paying attention - reading some story about a talking pig or something to my 2 year old as I was typing, always dangerous. Still don't know what's going on with these reissues, though, they're the opposite of the "Keepnews Collection."

Flimsier than LPR or Elite packaging, bad cover repro, no personnel notation as per original. Sound is fine if a bit shrilly BUT "Who's Afraid ... parts 1 & 2" and "Women of the World" are kickers supreme!

Speaking of Verve reissues, I saw that Stanley Clarke's Children of Forever will be reissued

as part of the Originals series on October 9. I've been looking for that one for quite some time!

I imagine there are more titles coming around that time, but haven't found a list of them yet.
