MoGrubb Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Didn't mean to unZip anybody for not knowing about the Zips. Quote
Free For All Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Michigan went from #5 to unranked in the AP poll. Ouch! FSU also dropped out, but they were only #19 to begin with and didn't have nearly as far to fall. Appalachian State isn't even eligible to be included in the polls, which seems kind of unfair. Seems like the whole ranking/playoff system is due for some major tweaking. Quote
T.D. Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 So much for the theory that Michigan would bounce back this week...down 39-7 to Oregon approaching the end of the 3d quarter. Quote
Chalupa Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 ESPN headline... Ducks roll as Wolverines suffer worst loss since '68 Michigan. Season. Over. Quote
Patrick Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 When does Wolverine hoops start? Quote
Brad Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 I don't follow College Football all that closely, particularly Michigan unless they're playing ND (another disaster) but what the hell happened to the program? That coach could be gone by mid season. Quote
T.D. Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Next week's Michigan-Notre Dame clash isn't exactly shaping up to be a barnburner... Best you can say is that somebody will have to win. Michigan doesn't seem like the type of program that would fire a coach mid-season. A post-season Carr "retirement" is more likely. Quote
Dan Gould Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 I'm just glad to see that FSU is no worse than Miami, and at this point could probably manage to hold off Michigan. In other words, we're among the best of the pathetic teams. Rah rah sis boom bah! Quote
MoGrubb Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 (edited) Does Michigan play Duke(football)? That'd give the blue devils a feather in their bonnet. Edited September 9, 2007 by MoGrubb Quote
