Always liked his work with Miles' band. Too bad his stint in the group wasn't longer !

I saw him lead an ensemble at the 1990 New Orleans Jazzfest, and really enjoyed him. I went out and bought his Blue Note album Color, which by coincidence I just listened to the other day.

I recently heard him play in Seattle with the Moutin Reunion Quartet. Great show! They're a group that deserves more attention.
