John B Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Confession time: I have never heard Lee Morgan's The Sidewinder. I now have a chance to pick up either the RVG or the earlier cd version. My question: I seem to recall that this was one of those discs where people seemed to think that the RVG was not an improvement on the original cd issue. Am I remembering correctly? Or should I just grab the RVG and be happy? thanks! Quote
scottb Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 If I'm not mistaken, it was Lee's RUMPROLLER RVG that was generally thought to be no better if not worse than the McMaster. The RVG of SIDEWINDER sounds noticably better to me. Quote
