Van Basten II
Thanks to a faulty DVR, could not watch French action Managed to watch the Community Shield , can already guess the title of the front pages Misery loves Kompany. Quite an entertaining game, it was played at a quite good level MU showed some vulnerability at defense and the new keeper did not look that great on the second goal but overall they were the better team so they deserved to add some hardware on their shelves. Should be watching tomorrow the Bayern-Monchengladbach game . Edited August 8, 2011 by Van Basten II

Van Basten II
Watched today Wolfsburg losing in a cruel fashion to the Bayern. Cruel because they had the right tactics and they limited the Munich offense to very few chances before allowing a late goal in the second half, what made it worse is the fact they had a legimate goal disallowed by a linejudge at the end of the first half. If it had standed, who knows how thighs would have developped Question for Manfred or anyone that can answer what is the story between the Munich fans and heir new keeper Saw finally some French action Stade Rennais was hosting the new Rockefellers of Le Championnat PSG. In what was a enjoyable match the host earned a well deserved point by equalizing the score during the last minutes of the match. Only 1 point in two games for the Parisian who have yet to find a groove. The biggest matchup tomorrow is another duel between the rivals of La Liga. Van Basten II
Poor start by Chelsea who were limited to a goalless tie despite outgunning Stoke City. Give credit to the home team for never losing their cool.
Van Basten II
MU looked after 15 minutes to be on their way to an easy win but then things got more complicated, not a bad match .

B. Goren.
I think this would be Arsene Wenger's last season in Arsenal. Arsenal deserves more. 5 or six seasons without any title is a good reason to thank him for his contribution and say goodbye. Arsenal needs change. EKE BBB
Shit! One more championship for Barcelona (Spanish Supercopa). And this time we -Real Madrid- played better in both matches... but there's a little Argentinian guy called Lionel who fucked it all up! But it's a step in the right direction, compared to the four Barcelona-Real Madrid matches at end of the last season. Now we just have to WIN. Do we have to wipe out the "fleas plague"? Fer Urbina
Do we have to wipe out the "fleas plague"? "Wipe out" may not be the best choice of words, given the current state of affairs I agree that Real Madrid played better, but there are two things that may play against them later in the year: physical condition, Barça will get better, and Madrid will peak earlier in the calendar, and that quite obviously Barça has undermined RM psychologically. Playing like they did they could well win, but they seem to get nervous and resort to stupid tactics. F
Van Basten II
Watched Arsenal-Liverpool both teams looked like they barely are mid-table level , United can sleep tight. Van Basten II
Gunners looked better against Udinese, then again it is a sign of maybe how bleak are things in Calcio. Some relatively shocking news as Fernerbahce was pulled out of the Champions League by the Turkish federation because of their involvment in a match fixing scandal. Last news I heard they were replaced by Trabzonspor the team that finish second, small problem, the team did play qualifications and was eliminated and was supposed to join Europa league also according to some reports Trabzonspor according to some reports was mentionned in the events relating to this scandal. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/football/top-stories/Fenerbahce-appeal-Champions-League-ban/articleshow/9734184.cms

B. Goren.
So far it's 8-1 in Manchester against London today. 8-2 at the end. I'm sure that even Arsene Wenger is replaceable.
Van Basten II
I actually was combining the results of the London teams playing Manchester teams so I guess the total score would be something like 11-3. As I wrote somewhere above tthis is the worst Arsenal team I ever since I can follow the Premier League on a regular basis, this is barely a mid-table team. Big match today between Barça and Villareal.
