alocispepraluger102 Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 heard a nice set of music over the weekend by a rather large ensemble called the chicago afrobeat project. the music was untempo, 70's funkish with some very fine soloists. fun music. certainly not hardcore jazz, but looks like they would give great live shows. any one know of them? Saw them on New Years 05/06 at the Note. That was a sweet night. They DO put on a fantastic show. Not really jazz, but not really not jazz either. Definitely worth a listen. Quote
