skeith Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 I have not seen the film, but thought I would "recommend" it here because it looks interesting and I have seen no films about this legendary school. It is a documentary on the "school" that was set up in Lenox Massachussetts every summer beginning in 1951 basically for jazz musicians. I think I have read that John Lewis of MJQ was associated with this and that one summer Ornette Coleman made a big splash there. may want to check details at www.tribecafilmfest.org Quote
