Guy Berger Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 (edited) This show is a disgrace. (Though sadly par for the cable news course.) Guy Edited April 22, 2007 by Guy Quote
7/4 Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 It's been a few years since I've watched that show. They never seem to have an interesting program. LK is only as interesting as the programing. Couldn't give a dam about him. Quote
Guy Berger Posted April 22, 2007 Author Report Posted April 22, 2007 A few years ago, when that Natalee Holloway pseudo-story was on TV 24/7, Bob Costas (who was filling in for LK as host) refused to do the show because the producers insisted on running a Holloway segment. Guy Quote

Guy That's one thing that keeps me away, lack of real stories. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 I heard some radio commentator say "Larry King tossed his first softball 50 years ago". Quote
Alexander Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Larry King has been turning into a giant bug for the last 25 years or so... Quote
Neal Pomea Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 I remember the Simpson's episode in which Homer ate an improperly handled blowfish(?) and thought he was going to die. He had a list of things he wanted to do before passing, one of which was to read the whole Bible. So he got Bible on Tape read by Larry King. Hilarious! And do you remember how Larry ended it after Revelations? "How about those San Antonio Spurs? They've evened up the NBA finals at 2 games a piece and are a real juggernaut! Hard to see how anyone will stop them now." (Or something like that --- after the word of God, and now for a little bit of sports news!) That about sums up Larry King. He will talk about matters great and small as though they are equal. Not to be taken seriously, just entertainment. Quote
