jmjk Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Has anyone ever worked with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator? It's not 100% accurate in all situations, but if one chooses to really dig into it, it can be fascinating!! I'm an INTP Quote
vajerzy Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Beats me- is there a link to find out?? Quote
Peter Johnson Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Hmmmm...we all get along swimmingly, but I'm an ESTJ Quote
jazzbo Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 I've found this to be a very intriguing thing. . . I'm an INFJ. Quote

jmjk Posted August 29, 2003 Author Report Posted August 29, 2003 (edited) Beats me- is there a link to find out?? Lon's link leads to a decent substitute for the MBTI--it asks similar types of questions, and the rating is probably close enough (thanks, Lon!). However, because a true MBTI requires a certification in order to administer (legally, anyway), you will not find the exact thing on the internet. Edited August 29, 2003 by jmjk Quote
AfricaBrass Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 I just took the test again - I hadn't taken it in 10 years. I've changed from an INFP to an INFJ - That's weird! Thanks for the Link, Lon! :rsmile: Quote
jazzbo Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Alright AB, us INFJs are a RARE breed! Quote
Ed S Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Took the test. Looks like I'm an INTP. Now what do I do with this information? Quote
Peter Johnson Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 I'll be damned. As I've aged, so has my score! I now appear to be an ENTJ. What does it all mean... Quote
jmjk Posted August 29, 2003 Author Report Posted August 29, 2003 (edited) Took the test. Looks like I'm an INTP. Now what do I do with this information? Fodder for pick-up lines. You do with this what we do with our IQ scores and Xmas fruit cakes. Nothing. Edited August 29, 2003 by jmjk Quote
Alexander Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 (edited) I'm an ISFJ. The Protector. Interesting that teaching was mentioned as one of the careers ISFJs are suited to, since I am enrolled in a teaching program even now! Edited August 29, 2003 by Alexander Quote

Ed S Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 Ed, do a google search for that type and you'll find page after page of reading! Holy smokes Lon, you're spot on - there's tons of stuff. Now I just have to figure out if I really want to know that much about myself Quote
jazzbo Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 It's pretty interesting. I find that a lot of the stuff about my type makes me go. . . okay, this is interesting, indeed. Quite a bit of it seems plausible. Quote
Peter Johnson Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 ANY other "E"s on the board? Quote
