Dan Gould Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 (edited) All CDs listed are in excellent, scratch-free condition. Inserts and tray cards are as well, with the understanding that three years ago I started keeping CDs in three ring binders and tray cards/inserts were bundled together and kept in boxes. It is possible that for a few of these, tray cards may have gotten a bit creased because of the rubber bands. I don't believe any will be noticeably altered, however, if a CD is placed on hold and I determine that there is an issue, I will notify the buyer and we'll go from there. UPDATED TERMS: Prices still include shipping in the US but do NOT include jewel boxes. Jewel boxes are available at $1 each. FINAL sale offer. Get them while they last. ALL CDs are now $5 each, shipped without jewel boxes. Buy FOUR and choose ONE of the CDs previously listed at $5 at no additional cost, while they last. Jewel boxes still available for $1 each. Paypal preferred, money orders accepted. Foreign shipping at cost. Chris Neville, From the Greenhouse (Evening Star) $8 (Benny Carter guests on the debut by his long-time accompanist) NOW $6 Joshua Redman, MoodSwing (Warner Brothers) $7 NOW $5 Following are digi-pak, excellent condition except where noted: Laverne Butler, Blues in the City (Maxjazz) $8 NOW $6 Darrell Grant, Twilight Stories (32 Jazz) $7 NOW $5 If we're lucky, I might have the LPs ready to list sometime before the All-Star break. Jim R Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 I just want to recommend that some organ trio + tenor fan out there grab that Randy Johnston disc, "In-A-Chord", on Muse. IMO, Johnston's best-ever recording, with Eric Alexander, Joey DeFrancesco, and Mickey Roker. It kicks. Quote

JB I believe the original release was Freddie Redd's "The Connection", in a quartet (w/Jackie McLean, Michael Mattos, and Lary Ritchie), all Redd compositions. This was just recently reissued as an RVG. The one that Dan is offering is also a Freddie Redd issue, but as a quintet, with Howard McGhee, Tina Brooks, Ossie Johnson, and Milt Hinton.
