I'm really spooked by this guy's talent. listened this week to a beautiful cd he did with jessye norman. he did a fabulous one about 30 years ago with 5 or 6 musicians including, cherbourg and windmills. listen to scarlet ribbons and several of 50's vinyls regularly. he captures the spirits of various locales better than anyone i am aware of. Among these gems are: Plays Richard Rodgers (Philips) Instrumental "Young Girls of Rochefort" (UA) Two live albums on RCA, circa 1975 Le Grand Jazz and Le Jazz Grand are both on CD, luckily. While some of the main themes appeared on the box set, the new release contains additional music from these films.
