.:.impossible Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Yes. Her show is shot on nice stock too. Very cool. Let's hope Oprah doesn't approach her about doing a cooking talk show... oh, and keep the photos coming. Quote

Chuck Nessa Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Does Brenda understand how many points she'd score if she spent more time in the kitchen? Quote

tonym Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 She's got a bit of a following over here Jim. Especially amongst blokes of a 'certain' age who prefer their ladies with a fuller shape. She is very attractive. Although her food programmes err on the side of comfort eating and pantry staples, something which you'd think would be popular, it's all achieved in her rather fashionable London home with acres of space, expensive cookware and lingering camera shots (Nigella licking peanut butter from her fingers etc.), alas, she's sometimes the target for satire. Larry Kart Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I'll never forget the time Nigella deep-fried a Mars bar on her show. She's Jewish, too -- a nice parley there with Lauren Bacall -- and has had a rather colorful life: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigella_Lawson Quote

JSngry Posted January 29, 2007 Author Report Posted January 29, 2007 Does Brenda understand how many points she'd score if she spent more time in the kitchen? LTB is a kitchen magician! I weighed 145 when we met, and, well, you've seen me since then... The way to a man's heart may not always be through his stomach, but if you don't get there eventually, it's a lost cause. Quote
sidewinder Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Her dad was a previous Conservative Chancellor in Mrs T's government. Managed to orchestrate a recession... Quote
brownie Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Nigella's cooking is alright and she does look prettier than Joel Robuchon! Still I'ld rather go to Robuchon's restaurant, if I could afford it! Quote
Kalo Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Nigella's serving hands: She should stick to cooking, she'd never make it as a hand model. Funny you should say that. A few years ago, when Nigella first began making a splash in the U.S., I showed a picture of her to a colleague of mine in the wine business. I told him how hot I thought she was. "Yeah, but look at her hands," he said. I did, and they were the hands of a woman of her age. I have to say, I hadn't noticed her hands before then, given the, er, um, rest of her. I think I could deal with the hands... To each his own. Quote
