Jim Alfredson
Randy and I had the opportunity to play with Corey Christiansen up at the Interlochen Fine Arts Academy last December. We barely made it up there... the snow was outrageous! Corey barely made it, too. That was the week that St. Louis was hit by that horrible ice storm. But we had fun. Somebody in the audience must have video-phoned us, as Corey found this little vid on YouTube and emailed it to us:

.:.impossible
I like that guy's sense of rhyhm. Is he a friend of yours? I'm not familiar with his name. Too bad the video cuts there!
Jim Alfredson
He's on the national scene and records for Mel Bay. He has a new CD out with Vic Juris and Jimmy Bruno that's doing quite well and features some really nice re-interpretations of standards: http://www.melbay.com/product.asp?productid=10312CD
Joe G
That guy's playing is damned tasty! Kinda glad he's not around here; I might be out of a gig.
