How did you decide where to start the bidding on those?

I have about 200 MFSL goldies that I'm going to auction in the next month (no jazz aside from a Jimmy Raney & Bill Evans).

An advance thanks for any advice that you can give me!

In most cases, I start somewhere around what I paid for the item in the first place, hoping to break even and anything beyond that is good. You can search eBay for prices on completed items, but basically I set a price at what I feel is the minimum I will be happy with. Some people try to save eBay fees by putting a very low starting price, but you run the risk of not getting much more than that. I'd rather relist the item and if necessary lower the price than sell it way below what I want because I started with such a low opening bid.
