brownie Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 Italian-born (and French resident) drummer Aldo Romano was named winner of the 2004 Jazzpar prize from Denmark. He succeeds Andrew Hill, the 2003 laureate. The prize comes with a cash award of approximately $25,000. You can read more at 2004 Jazzpar and go to Latest News.
