Jim R Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 I heard something like a beer bottle falling over. is that what it is? Whoa... serious deja vu. I started this (almost) exact topic once on the BNBB. I forget how that discussion went, but yeah, I think there was definitely a beer bottle immortalized on that recording. Quote
CJ Shearn Posted January 26, 2007 Author Report Posted January 26, 2007 and you'd think the beer bottle would be immortalized on "Workout" Quote
Spontooneous Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 (edited) I'm hearin' it too. Just before the end of Grant's solo. For a change, an extraneous noise on a Grant record that isn't caused by Ben Dixon's squeaky hi-hat. Edited January 26, 2007 by Spontooneous Quote
(BB) Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Now how do you know it was a beer bottle, it could have been a hot day and someone was enjoying an ice cold soda-pop. Quote
sheldonm Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 ...surely it wasn't a beer bottle on an LP entitled "Sunday Mornin'". Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 Oh well, now I've GOT to get this out and give it a listen. MG Quote
Son-of-a-Weizen Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 I heard something like a beer bottle falling over. is that what it is? I hope you cleaned it up! The light reflecting off the gold label somehow manages to give that pool of spring water a desirable beer-like tint. Interesting trick photography. Quote
brownie Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 Bet you don't hear the sound of a beer bottle falling over on an ECM album Quote
CJ Shearn Posted January 27, 2007 Author Report Posted January 27, 2007 Bet you don't hear the sound of a beer bottle falling over on an ECM album actually you do. A glass bottle being smashed to pieces on PMG's "American Garage" Quote
