Ron S Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Anyone seen chewy lately? Isn't he due to be trying on a new alter ego right about now? Quote

Didn't think Chew-Chew's keyboard had all those funny punctuation keys. And there's WAY too many correctly and appropriately capitalized words for that to be him. Quote

Perhaps in his "chewy" or "aric" personae, but I'm thinking more of his "ContemporarySFLady" (or whatever it was) schtick. He has such a varied repertoire. Quote
Jazzin'D92 Posted January 9, 2007 Author Report Posted January 9, 2007 LOL. well Google always works. He does seminars and such, he is quite the motivator. he was also our guest conductor at Midwest. Quote
JSngry Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 Motivation is good, great even, but I always suggest looking at the motivations of the motivator. Just because. But if he makes you want to do something constructive with your life, hey, that's a good thing. Just do it because you want to, not because you've been "programmed" to. Not saying that's what this cat is up to, just offering some advice for the long haul. Because not all motivators are altruistic in what they lay down. Now hey - shouldn't you be practicing? Quote
Jazzin'D92 Posted January 9, 2007 Author Report Posted January 9, 2007 Yes!!!! I'm actually going to try out for Drum Major for marching band. But MOST IMPORTANT TO ME is Regional band for jazz and concert. haha So I think I will practice the etudes. Quote
