I loved Bill Murray on SNL. I remember being really confused. Later, after reading Thompson's works and having made a few trips to Vegas "Fear and Loathing" style, if get my drift. It made sense. I tried to watch the Terry Gilliam "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" film with my wife. If I had a nickel for everytime she said, "This movie is stupid" during it, I would have a Mosaic set on the way. After an hour of her complaining I gave up.
