felser
Same excellent company (I have dozens and dozens of their soul and rock CD's, always beautifully executed) did this one. I don't own it, but do own several of the cuts on it in different configurations.

Announcement seems delayed until the Scorcese documentary release date is announced by Netflix. It seems unlikely that Renaldo and Clara will be included. Yes, there was a bootleg series release already, a 2 cd compilation that had a short DVD of a few performances included in some if not all releases; THIS set is not part of the Bootleg Series. The speculation is that this may not have sets by other artists, as that might be a licensing hassle, but it's not yet certain. The most likely speculation seems to be five two cd shows, three discs of rehearsals, and a disc of rare bits and pieces. Official news is that this will be out on June 7, and is 14 cds: 5 two cd shows professionally recorded from the 1975 tour, and four discs of rehearsal material studio recorded before the tour went underway. It is interesting stuff, but she was a VERY different singer in the mid-60's. All lightness and air. 2 minutes ago, jazzbo said: Official news is that this will be out on June 7, and is 14 cds: 5 two cd shows professionally recorded from the 1975 tour, and four discs of rehearsal material studio recorded before the tour went underway. Gdgray
Seems Bob has always had his finger on the pulse. Do the times really change? Come senators, congressmen Please heed the call Don’t stand in the doorway Don’t block up the hall For he that gets hurt Will be he who has stalled There’s a battle outside and it is ragin’ It’ll soon shake your windows and rattle your walls For the times they are a-changin’

felser
Wow. He hasn't touched me in decades, only 'Time Out of Mind' (especially "Highlands") in the past nearly 40 years, but this is a very moving experience, especially now. Listening to one of the Bootleg releases, Tell Tale Signs, changed everything. He's as extraordinary as he ever was, and I now listen to and enjoy his latter day recordings more than the earlier stuff. Meet Bob half way and you'll be justly rewarded. The second to last line in Murder Most Foul namechecks Bud Powell! Even cooler, the lyric is - "Play Love Me or Leave Me by the great Bud Powell". Bud, insofar as I know, never actually recorded Love Me or Leave Me but I think borrowed the chords for his "Get It" on "Swingin WIth Bud". Dylan's got big ears.
